have bagged uranus, as its currentl sitting just under "96 aqr", star in aquarus, it looks like ":" in binos... so lets see how many can spot it.
Start with pegaus the flying horse, which is nice square in sky about 9ish

* * *
* *
use the right two stars and follow thier direction down. About two bino size views down is group of stars like this
*
*
*
*
they are faint keep going down as you too high.
4-5 more bino windows down you should get uranus
* *
(U)
*
*
if you go down two far you may hit shape like this:
*
*
*
*
if your this low then uranus and it companion is higher.
Uranus and its companion star at present really look like two stars ontop on each other, am will remain in vertical alignment for 3-4 days.
So lets see who can spot this challenge.
Brian - baggs uranus at 20:53 (GMT+10) Norway. with 15x70 binos. No real indication that uranus is planet though - maybe not that clear skies here.
