this is an image of Jupiter taken with a ToUcam and my LX200GPS 12". The webcam provided about 2000 frames of vidoe, which were processed using Registax [free software available on the net] to give the final stacked image. Still learning....

how do I get rid of this stuff above?

If this post works, I will send other images - please let me know if I have done this correctly, it is my first time posting to a forum!!

well I have gone back in and checked my first post. I don't see any sign of the thumbnail image I saw on my preview, can anyone help? In the meantime, the image can be viewed by clicking on the gallery button at the bottom of the page.

Hi Bob,

I'll answer this in the Technical forum, because I'm sure that lots of people will find the posting of inline images tricky - I did.

Hi Bob,

Is this the layout you were wishing to achieve?

Click to see full size image

If so this would be the layout:

Hi all, hope you had a good Christmas, and are suitably enthused to take advantage of any gaps that appear in the clouds!
Hopefully, I am now doing the right thing about making astroimages available for your examination and comments. The link below should take you to my flickr photo album. There is a small selection of images there with some details of how they were achieved. I am still on the learning curve!

Cheers to all,
Bob
