HI i just like to tell you folks about the lastest BB issue 13 for spring 07
This informative news letter is designed for the budding astronomer and covers all topics relating to that subject , it is edited and produced by Emma Hayter "Seabay" on this forum , an awful lot of work goes into producing this paper and i would personally like to thank Emma for all her efforts . In this issue there is front page coverage on our Society by Paul Holmes and what an excellent article it is , its a great read and there,s even an article by some geek called Solar B dont read that though.
I will bring some copies along to the next meeting.
Brian

I would just like to echo what Brian has already said, it's an excellent publication and we all enjoyed reviewing it this evening - especially the references to DBAstro AND the excellent contributions from Solar B.

Thanks so much, Kirsty and Brian! It's great to get such good feedback, and glad you enjoyed the latest issue.
If anyone would like a copy of the latest, please send me a pm.
Next issue is out early in June (look out for an excellent eclipse report from Andy T!), so I'll send some to Brian as usual.
(And a huge thank you to Solar B for (a) his excellent material, and (b) being the Scottish distributor!!).
E

Hi all -

Yes, deadline for issue 15 of BB (covering October/November 07 and issued early October) is 1st September. New this season (!) is also E-BRIEF - an e-mail news update which will be issued every other month in between issues of the newsletter (odd numbered months, eg, Nov, Jan, Mar, etc).
The first issue of E-BRIEF came out in early August, so if anyone wants to receive it that hasn't already, please send me a pm with an e-mail contact address.
Thanks, and Clear Skies!
Emma H
