Hi All

On Saturday evening i went to the darksite at 2230 with Makbule and Melisa. Even though the moon was out the seeing was great out to the west and not too bad in the south. Great views od Saturn but failed in the area of Coma Berenices to locate DSO's moved onto Hercules and M13 was magnificent and resolved to individual stars.

We had a visit from the police about midnight they thought we were badger baiters  Very Happy .
They had some looks at the moon and Saturn and left thoroughly impressed with Astronomy. I gave them info on the club lets see if they come.

We saw several shooting stars and satellites. The moon was awesome I have never been that bothered with it before but after Andy's great talk at the club it has revitalised my interest.
All in all a great night and I will deffinately be going there again this month.

Regards
Cosmic

The moon is about all I ever managed to see through my telescope before it collapsed on me at the meeting last year hehe.
