BBc website carries story of Indian unmanned moon mission with a planned manned mission soon.
They seem to have curried (if you'll pardon the pun) no favours by spending such huge amounts on this whilst most of the country live in abject poverty.
Still I'm having naan  of this talk...any money spent on space is money well spent as far as I'm concerned.
