I Managed to get a couple of hours last night in comfort I might add as I
managed to get a very comfortable hydraulic bar stool with back and footrest from Kinross Market on Sunday. Black and Chrome £20 but I haggled and got it for £15 (no more tired legs and works a treat).
Anyway I digress I spent most of the night tying to get my bearings with all the zillions of stars the 12" now shows. The inverted image takes a lot of getting used to. Managed to get Ring Neb and the improvement was spectacular. Elongated shape and center easy to distinguish and had the moon not been up I might have been able to see central star (I wish).
Can't wait to get this scope to a dark site with no moon.

Am well-jealous, Cosmic - keep us up to date when you manage to get some viewing in at a moonless dark site.
