Long time since posting.

I managed to get my hands on a Philips Toucam Pro 2.

It is in near mint condition but extremely smelly indeed! Some chemicals should sort it out.

I need an adapter for my Meade ETX 80mm so I can use this webcam. (Astrophotography Newbie really) Can anyone recommend the best place to buy one in the uk or us with cheap postage.

If you have one for sale.. even better!

Next step is to know how to use the thing effectively!

Thanks in advance

Hi Nighthawk,
if you go to the Telescopehouse.co.uk website, and look under astrophotography accessories, you will see the AC378 webcam adaptor for £24.99. This should interface your ToUcam to your scope 1.25" eyepiece holder. Once you get it up and running, I can give you some help to get you started. Have a great time imaging!
Bob

Thank you for your advice. Would the ebay adapters be of lower quality?

Or does it really not matter. Annoyingly the nights are getting lighter. Thanks bhenderson50 for the offer of helping me out. Will try and get an adapter soon.

its just a piece of black plastic type material. The ebay ones fine and £12 others £24 .... doubt much difference in quality. With ebay you bidding so time and postage needs to be considered.
