Great images, Alex. You guys were lucky to see such a good orange-red colour. Down here (south coast of England) we got a muddy sort of browny-grey colour, with a pale salmon pink tinge. Similar reports from Surrey as well. Although even that was better than some parts of the West Country: a contact of mine n Penzance didn't even get to see totality because the cloud moved in so early.
Did anyone else see the strong blue tinge at the edge of the moon that we saw down here? _________________ Emma H |
