Dark by 9 - nearly time for scopes to be brought

Meeting discussed transformation of periscope into telescope - the depths people will go to for this passion.... Smile

Trust Megapixel - or was it fierce debate that it not 3 megapixel webcam but just 1 megapixel - subsequent research shows that its 1.3 megapixel for video (avi, 1280x1024) and 3.9 megapixel for single shot (2300x1700)

Trip to Dundee Observatory in offing (8th Oct)

Dark matter (does it exist), Jupiter low and fading - skies quiet as major planets on vacation till Xmas, Messiers and some latest picutres from Bob

Also peltier (cooling device) discussions. 91W Thermoelectric Cooler Peltier with fan (on hot side) to hopefully enable cooling for toucam or trust webcams.
