Bob's observatory move

Hi all,
as I said last evening, I am planning to move my observatory this Sunday, and I would be grateful for any help I can get. Weather permitting, I would hope to begin around 1300 on Sunday July 20th. My address is 13 Farmstead road Dalgety bay. If you pass the BP filling station on the left, turn right at the roundabout at the top of the hill, just before the sports centre. This leads on to Chandlers Rise. Take the second on the left, which is Farmstead Road, and proceed about 200m to the top. My house is on the right, opposite the farmhouse, large balcony along the front. My mobile number is 07790 315 967.
Beer and snacks will be available for helpers, the work should hopefully take around 4 hours in total, although I probably only need help for 2 hours max.
Thanks in anticipation,
Bob

Bob, I'm just round the corner at 15 Chandlers Rise, so happy to muck in. Surprised

Could you use a borrow of any tools/equipment of any kind (spades/pick/spanners/screwdrivers/etc or even a barrow) on the day, or even need any physical help for any prep work before Sunday?

Thanks to all who have replied so far. I think the only thing I could do with borrowing is the use of a mains-powered drill. I have a rechargeable, but I don't think it's beefy enough for the job.
The plan is to demount the scope from the pier, then remove the pier and bring both down to the house. Then the observatory dome will be lifted off and moved down, after which the body of the observatory will be lifted [three people should be fine for this], and relocated on to the new base. Then rebuild the dome and scopes....................
Looking forward to it,
Bob

Got a mains powered hammer drill (looks vaguely like a tommy-gun!), drum extension lead, and a Black & Decker battery job but its got reasonable oomph and two 12V swap-batteries and a fast-charger.

Those & anything else, just shout.

I have to make apologies, I wont be available on Sunday as Astrosource UK is hand delivering my new refractor. Hope everything goes well tho and that the weather is good.
