Help needed for my C8After moving house I've had my c8 in the shed, got it out tonight to use but found that the corrector plate has fogged up on the inside. I tried to remove the corrector plate but was unable to do so. can anyone help????

is the corrector plate the glass at front with the secondary mirror on it ?
if yes, then that plate is removable, there are usually 3 or 4 alen screw. But i would warn take picture first, and on disassembly note allignments and locations - so when you reassemble it works.
I would search google if you have internet, for flocking C8 - as there is very good step by step article on how to remove mirror from a C8 - which i followed for my Meade 8' -

So it should be possible to do this - guess you eyepiece socket left open and thus air/damp got in.

Thanks i managed to get the corrector plate off, the eyepeice cover was covered so don't know what happened but got it sorted now.
