Help Wanted!!This is an appeal to everyone of . . . . how shall I put this? . . . . more mature years (ie like me!)
I'm putting together a feature for the BEGINNERS' BRIEF astro/space newsletter about Apollo 13 (37th anniversary in April), and I'm looking for personal memories of 13 . . . . nothing technical - just thoughts on what you remember of the mission.
Since it will be compiled from the input of (hopefully!) several people, it needn't be any more than, say, 100-150 words, and I'd need it within the next seven days (sorry!).
Solar B has copies of past issues of the newsletter [Brian: if you're going to the meeting on Monday, could I pretty-please ask you to take a couple along in case people want to have a look? Thanks! ]
Hope to hear from anyone whose memory stretches back that far (probably best if you send me a p.m. so as not to clog up the Forum?) - and thanks in advance.

Hmmmm . . . . now I really do feel old!! I do actually remember Apollo 13 myself, but a lot of the memories centre around the family row that broke out, when I wanted to stay up way past my bedtime to watch the spacemen come home (ie 7pm UK time!)
