New ScopeWhile Bob was moving observatories, I was having my new Astro-Physics refractor (152mm, F9) delivered by Astrosource UK (http://www.astrosource.co.uk/), whose praises, by the way, I can't sing loudly enough.
My new telescope viewing area should also be complete by the end of next week as well which will give me access to the polestar, so I am really looking forward to observing weather.

New ScopePete
Hope you have many hours pleasure from your new scope. I did notice just one tiny error in your post. The part about the viewing area? surely you meant the Lads Beer n barbeque area
P.S. Whens the scope warming party?

My apologies for misnaming the viewing area - I did of course mean the "beer and barbecue area"

WeatherHi Emma
Well what a pleasant surprise last night I got in about 3 hours of clear observing. Great views of Jupiter and cloud belts. More nebulae and open clusters.
Still could NOT get auto align to work it was miles out again!
Has anyone had experience at this? It's so frustrating. Had to do everything manually
Also the red dot finder is next to useless on the etx105 does anyone know of a good replacement?
