Planetarium Show - Monday 8th Oct 2007I went to Mills Observatory recently and had a look round.It transpires that they do planetarium shows there, and that a pre-booked group visit includes a planetarium show in the price. Sadly, it does not also include a peh. The first slot they had available (they don't open evenings in the summer) is Monday 8th October, so I've asked them to book that evening for us, starting at 8pm. The total cost will be £12.50, not each, but for the group. If a dozen of us went, that would be just over a quid each. No need to respond now, but nearer the time I'll start collecting names and arranging car-pooling. |

ConfirmedI called the Mills Observatory today to confirm our booking.The planetarium show will be presented by resident astronomer, Ken Kennedy. This looks like a great night, but the maximum number for one show is 16 people, so get your names in to me (dbastro@banthewasp.com) as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. |
