Solar Day - Saturday 2nd JuneThanks to Brian "Solar B" Wright, we have a solar observing morning
at his house, 6 The Inches, starting at 10am. [Update: it will now start at 12 noon].
Brian has dedicated solar telescopes which are by far the safest way to see the sun, and filter to bring out details of the solar surface.
