very nice detail on the forthcoming particial eclipes , i was fortunate enough to see saros 139 in turkey this year , the next total will not until aug 1st 2008 but we will be able to see around 40per coverage of the sun here which in itself is quite spectacular. brian |

Visibility map's, I understand the dates and that's about it!
Great photo Paul. The 29th of March, was this the partial eclipse of the sun? If I remember correctly I glanced through my oakley sunglasses at this event. Bad of me I know. I couldn't resist. Very clear for the split seconds. |

Yeah
this was a partial eclipse here , but if you were in the moons shadow i.e. the umbra (in another part of the world) it would have been total . if you want to have a good look at the sun (safely)in the near future then give me a shout. brian |
