Venus and Jupiter - Feb.08Really rubbish weather down here at the moment - although I suspect we're having an easier time of it than you guys, as we've had no snow yet! - Venus-Jupiter conjunction last Friday was completely clouded out, but the next dawn (2nd Feb) was clear and cold, so got some good views.
This was taken with a 5 mp digital camera, hand-held on automatic setting - you can only just make out Jupiter, but I promise it's there! Pleased to catch the moon in the same frame as well.
