Hello All,
Here is my latest image taken on the 6th August at 4.33am, I used my Celestron 100mm f9 Apo Refractor with Meade Apo 2x barlow lens & Meade DSI.

Nice work George, glad to hear that you are using a 100ED

and that you are ridding yourself of that mirrored device  Cool

Yes George well done!
I pick up my new beastie on Saturday Meade LX90 8inch SCT with GPS so lets see what that's like.

Hope you get some clear skies! I'm looking to get a new scope myself but I don't know whether to go for the new Celestron EdgeHD 11 OTA or the William Optics FLT 132 APO Triplet. Any comments?
I'm also considering an older Meade ETX200 10" OTA EMC Coatings.

George
I guess you need to speak to Pete he has one of the big apo's but I guess whichever you go for will be fine i wouldn't mind alook at your set up one night to see the canon |Eos for astrophotography.

Not a problem Geoff, I will pm you with my contact details and we can get something sorted out.

Refractor wise the Meade 127 or the Equinox 120 would easily be
as well corrected as the WO 132 for half the price, ive read some
average reports about the 132 on CN but never anything bad about
the other two,the Equinox tends to just beat the Meade in tests.
My dream refractor in this size would be an FS 128,but again i doubt
that even this legendary scope would be any better.

Thanks for the recomedation Brian. I think If I was going to go for anything it would be the meade. I've been put off the wo.
