Our third meeting took us outdoors for the first time. Despite umpromising weather earlier in the day, it cleared up nicely on the night and we saw Saturn through all four of the scopes we had between us.
Through Dean's 12-inch scope we saw the Orion Nebula (M42) very clearly.

In the picture below, we have (left to right):
Dean "Dean" Morrison
Scott "funkstar" Thomson
John "jholmes007" Holmes
Iain "Alderney99" Johnston
Caroline "CazzaPar" Thomson
Bob "bhenderson50" Henderson
Michelle "Jetamio" Windle

P1150011

Calvin Morrison and Jimmy Bryce are out of shot, and once again I was standing behind the camera.

Any errors, as always let me know and I'll fix them.

Really enjoyed last night, best views so far of Saturn and M42.
For anyone interested my telescope was setup with 32mm plossl eyepieces giving 95x magnification.
