Haven't had much success recently due to the naff weather. But last week was better so here's a snap taken with my 80mm. Details in the file name.
Cheers
Andy

Oh well. It was really good - probably the best lunar image ever taken.

great image Andy, lots of subtle detail visible. How did you acquire the image? I would be interested to hear details of the process.

Image was acquired using pretty much what you discussed tonight.
Webcam (mono chipped SPC900NC), X2.8 Barlow, William Optics ZS 80 scope, tracking on my HEQ5 Pro. Usual capture (I use K3CCD rather than the Philips software) of approx. 2000 frames, stacked in Registax, a fiddle in Paintshop Pro (mainly edge preserving smooth) and that's it.
